Brainstormed, commissioned and edited pieces from writers, illustrators, designers, photographers and artists tied to each of the events, including a comic illustrating the story of grime in America and a piece about Diamanda Galas' vocal technique. Managed editorial calendar and assisted with researching documentaries, including one about the ill-fated Disco Demolition Night. Line-edited and top-edited proofs for 2016 festival newspapers, including Movement Detroit and Levitation.

Former news hound for Newsweek online. Consistently led monthly web traffic on a team of 15 writers, while juggling pitching, reporting, writing and fact-checking daily web and print features centered on contemporary arts, film, television and music. Wrote print profiles of notable cultural figures, including actors Gillian Anderson and Isabella Rossellini, and the hip-hop duo Run the Jewels. Multi-tasker extraordinaire for Newsweek's weekend edition, pinch-hitting as a producer, editor and writer of 3-5 daily breaking news stories while managing Newsweek's social media accounts. Traveled to Los Angeles and reported on a behind-the-scenes feature on the popular singing competition show The Voice, and covered Art Basel Miami Beach in 2014. Wrote 20+ features on films and personalities present at the 2015 and 2016 Sundance Film Festivals.

Chief officer for George Washington University’s student-run radio station, overseeing 250+ members. Trained 80+ interns per semester across eight departments. Managed the quality of live programming and broadcasting 24/7. Secured funds and overhauled a thorough rewiring of outdated station equipment. Booked interviews, in-studio performances and hosted a weekly show for four consecutive years. Executed major events, including food truck festival Truckapalooza and monthly open mic nights at Baked & Wired, a popular DC coffee shop, with over 400 and 200 attendees, respectively. Executed a sold-out Deerhunter performance at DC’s historic 6th & I Synagogue along with two other college stations. Edited the WRGW Music Blog and managed a team of 20+ writers there.
